KIRSTENBOSCH

The world's first Botanical Garden, Kirstenbosch, was established to preserve our country's unique indigenous flora. While visiting, don't forget The Tree Canopy Walkway (known as 'the boomslang'). It has some of the best views of The Peninsula. There are many walking trails leading up the slopes of Table Mountain. In Summer Kirstenbosch hosts very popular Sunday afternoon open – air concerts. 3,9km from Andros.

TABLE MOUNTAIN AND AERIAL CABLEWAY

Table Mountain is one of the new 7 wonders of nature & home to over 1000 species of fynbos as well as dassies. The quickest way to explore it is via the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway. Enjoy amazing views, guided walks & the Cape Floral Kingdom. 16,3km from Andros.

V & A WATERFRONT

The V & A Waterfront is home to a 150 year old working harbour as well as being a world – class retail and entertainment destination, also housing many top class restaurants to suit all pallets. The popular Two Oceans Aquarium is also situated at the V & A. 13km from Andros

ROBBEN ISLAND

3 ½ Hour Tours of Robben Island (Nelson Mandela and others were imprisoned there) depart from The Nelson Mandela Gateway in the V & A's Clock Tower precinct. The tour includes a ferry crossing and a guided bus tour around the Island. Boat departures are weather dependant.

NEWLANDS RUGBY STADIUM
(50 000 CAPACITY)

The first official match at the globally iconic rugby stadium in South Africa was played in 1890 and it is the oldest rugby stadium in South Africa and the second oldest rugby stadium in the world.
The venue which is the home ground for the Stormers in Super rugby and Western Province in the Currie Cup is also only a 5 minute drive from the Andros.

The penguin colony is situated at Boulders Beach in Simon's Town, on the way to Cape Point. You are able to swim with the penguins or just take photographs from the walkway. 36km from Andros.

NEWLANDS CRICKET STADIUM
(25 000 SEATING CAPACITY)

Being overlooked by Table Mountain and Devils Peak, Newlands is widely regarded as being one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the world! The cricket ground opened in 1888 and is only a 5 minute drive from the Andros.
